Area cleared after police investigate bomb threat in downtown Rollinsford

People were allowed to return to downtown Rollinsford on Thursday after police investigated a bomb threat.
On Thursday the Rollinsford police were called to the Upper and Lower Mill buildings to investigate a bomb threat.
Front and Main streets were closed while police investigated, and officials asked people to avoid the area.
Police said they were able to clear the area, and people were allowed to return at about 6:15 p.m.
Officials are expected to release more information later.
