One person hurt after a fire at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, officials say

On Wednesday one person was injured after a fire at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, officials said.

Fire crews responded around 5 p.m. after a fire alarm went off on the USS Hampton.

Officials said the fire, which was located outside the ship, was quickly extinguished.

The person that got injured was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
