Police Investigate Bullet Discovery at Nashua High School South; Shelter-in-Place Ordered


NASHUA, N.H. — Students and staff at Nashua High School South were placed under a shelter-in-place order as police investigate the discovery of a single bullet found inside a school restroom, authorities said.


According to the Nashua Police Department, the precautionary measure was implemented out of an abundance of caution while officers assess the situation.


“At this time, there is no active threat, and students and staff are safe,” police said in a statement posted on X.


Officials have not released additional details about how the bullet was discovered or whether any suspects have been identified.
